A vision for mDuck.com
So there are a few things I would like to accomplish with mDuck
- I've been managing iPhone Projects from usability to development to launch. I usually understand programming languages pretty easily, but to be honest, getting a grasp on iPhone Development -- objective-c syntax, cocoa framework, usability and development guidelines... is very overwhelming. I've learned a lot on my own but then when I learned that all of Stanford's iPhone Development lectures are on iTunes University, I decided to take them from the start. I'm still going through the lectures which are GREAT for a person new to iPhone Development. I'm going to attempt to slowly build my own set of online tutorials for iPhone Development aimed at the complete noob like when I started. Thus the iPhone Development section.
- As I go through the online lectures for iPhone Development, instead of doing their homework assignments, I decided to think of simple ideas to practice what I learn and see if they would actually sell on the iTunes Store. I have 2 of these "for learning/fun only apps" up on the app store and they are actually selling. These are the types of things I want to create in the Projects section, even if they are just experiments or failures.
- Finally, my background is in web development and eMarketing. I have knowledge in various areas such as SEO/SEM, social networking, web 2.0 technologies, etc... I'll tend to ramble on about things on my mind in this area in the web mashups section.
